Toshiba e830 Available in Canada
The Toshiba e830 VGA Pocket PC is now available in Canada. This is the best way to buy it if you are in the US as there are no plans to release it here.

You can buy the Toshiba e830 from Handheld Canada for $667 + tax (canadian dollars). Air shipping is $24.99 and ground shipping is free. $667 Canadian is about $530 US so this is a great price.

No Toshiba e830 in the US
Toshiba has confirmed to BargainPDA that they will definately not be releasing the e830 VGA Pocket PC in the US.
This is a shame as the e830 seems to be a great Pocket PC:
4" VGA 640x480 screen, Bluetooth and 802.11b, 520mhz processor, 128mb RAM 32mb ROM, SDIO and CompactFlash expansion slots, 5.3 x 3.0 x 0.6 inches.
If that isn't bad enough, Toshiba announced that they are pulling out of the US PDA market completely, which seems like a silly decision considering how poor HPs recent Pocket PC releases have been.

Toshiba e800 Review
