Goamo VGA SIP Keyboard

Goamo Software writes:
"I thought your readers may be interested in a new SIP keyboard that displays full size when in true VGA mode (enabled by SE_VGA or OzVGA). The default system keyboard is very small in this mode and difficult to use as each key is the width of the stylus. This new VGA aware keyboard displays as if it were in QVGA mode and makes entering URLs and data much easier.
It is available at Pocket Gear for $5.95 and is only for ARM (XScale) processors and Windows Mobile 2003 SE."

Bejeweled goes VGA

At last, another game designed to take advantage of VGA Pocket PC screens:
"Have you recently purchased one of those shiny new Pocket PC's with cutting edge VGA resolution display, and searched for games to support your new screen?
Well rejoice VGA device owners - Astraware have brought the biggest selling PDA game of all time to VGA screens everywhere! Bejeweled, the original addictive gem matching puzzle game, is now enhanced for Windows Mobile™ for Pocket PC 2003 SE devices giving you crisp, sharp VGA graphics that really show off that new screen perfectly. Tie that with an original soundtrack, and sound effects courtesy of Astraware's Aurora Audio Engine™ and you have a game you'll be proud of showing to family and friends (and help you justify that expensive PDA purchase you just made)."
VGA Game: Acky's XP Breakout

James Bryant wrote in to tell us about the first Pocket PC game specifically written for VGA resolution screens (not just a scaling up of an existing QVGA game).
Acky's XP Breakout is a fun breakout/arkanoid clone with over 150 levels.
FirstLoox reviewed the VGA version of Acky's XP Breakout and they liked it, click below for their full review:

Adobe Reader for Pocket PC 2.0

Adobe has released a new version of their Acrobat Reader software for Pocket PC.
I need to view a lot of acrobat PDF files but it's never been easy on a Pocket PC due to the low resolution. I was excited therefore to hear about this update to Adobe's software and was looking forward to VGA resolution for my PDF files.
Here's the kicker: the new version of Adobe Reader doesn't support VGA resolution. Does anyone at Adobe keep up to date with technology?, does anyone at Adobe even own a Pocket PC?
I can understand many games not supporting VGA as it's very difficult to make the graphics work for both QVGA and VGA, but Adobe Reader is a business application whose reason for existing is to display a document on the screen.
My advice, buy Repligo: it does a lot better job of making PDF files look good on Pocket PCs and works in VGA.
