Panasonic has announced 2 new SecureDigital (SD) memory cards that use a fancy new LSI architecture to achieve read/write speeds of 20MB per second (or 133x speed for comparison to CD writers and CompactFlash cards).
The Panasonic Pro High Speed series of cards comes in 1GB and 512MB versions, and the cards will be available in October.
Price is not yet known.
